The School is looking to recruit an outstanding teacher of Music to act as maternity cover for the period 1 September 2026 - 20 June 2027. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic teacher to ensure that all of our children in the Prep School, from 8-13, boarding and day, are able to develop their love for, and skills in, musicianship.
The successful candidate will have an outstanding ability to communicate with children, their parents and staff team members, an enthusiastic and caring attitude with the ability to engage in a warm and supportive way with the children. They will enjoy making learning about music fun, strive to encourage a real love of learning both in and out of the classroom, and inculcate good musical habits for life.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of the School, a passion for working with children and high standards of professional practice. The successful candidate will have good digital literacy skills.
