We're looking for a skilled sawyer to join our worktop fabrication team in York, running our Donatoni Jet bridge saw to cut granite, marble and quartz to an exacting standard.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes real pride in precision, low waste and a clean, well-run workshop.

  • Reading drawings, templates and cutting lists for accurate, low-waste cutting
  • Planning slab layouts to make the most of every piece and protect veined material
  • Keeping tooling, the saw area and the wider workshop safe and in good order

Requirements:

  • 2+ years fabricating stone worktops
  • Experience on a CNC bridge saw — Donatoni ideal, or a comparable machine you can convert from
  • Full UK driving licence

From £32,000 basic — negotiable depending on experience. Overtime, plus a performance-related yearly bonus. Company pension and free on-site parking. A permanent, full-time role in a friendly, quality-driven team.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with overtime available.
