We are looking to hire an Associate with International Arbitration and Commercial Litigation experience to assist on an ongoing basis. We would be interested in hearing from you if you feel you meet the following criteria.
Essential Requirements- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Excellent drafting skills.
- First in your Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) or Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL).
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent communication skills and strong work ethos.
- IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience of working as an Associate within litigation and international arbitration.
- Experience of working in the Litigation Practice of an English Law Firm (preferred).
- Managing cases from inception to resolution, including client correspondence and procedural strategy.
- Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements and submissions.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support arbitration, litigation and sanctions matters.
- Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies and case developments.
- Liaising with counsel, experts and other stakeholders in arbitration and litigation proceedings.
- Handling court filings, procedural deadlines and electronic document management.
- Representing clients in negotiations and case conferences.
- Attending hearings and client meetings in the UK and internationally.
- Maximum requirement of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- Overtime available.
