The Belfry Hotel & Resort is an award-winning hotel, home to 300+ luxurious bedrooms and suites, several restaurants and bars, events and meetings spaces, a leisure club and spa. Our three golf courses, including The Brabazon, are recognised as world-class. The resort has undergone a major expansion and renovation with an investment of over £80 million, marking a new and exciting chapter in our history.
The Brabazon Bar is the heart of our resort, serving light dishes and coffees during the morning, afternoon tea, and hand-crafted cocktails in the evening. The bar is home to live music during the weekend.
Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is a £34,143.60 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £31,476.00 supplemented by an estimated £2,667.60 in gratuities per annum.
About the role
As Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the managers to lead and organise your team to deliver excellent operational standards and maximise revenue in the department.
- Coaching, developing, and acting as a role model to your team
- Overseeing compliance with Health & Safety regulations
- Handling customer queries and resolving any issues
- Assist in recruitment and training to company standards
- Work alongside management regarding menu changes
- Review weekly business to address successes and opportunities for improvement with revenue, guest measures, and payroll
- Oversee the cellar, stock control and bar training
- Identify opportunities to drive profit, create value for guests, and encourage innovation
- Ensure that your team are informed, motivated, engaged, and developed, to deliver operational excellence
About you
The ideal candidate will have a proven food & beverage background within high-end hotels or cocktail bars. They should be experienced with regards to high volume.
