Sales Team

The Belfry Hotel & Resort Sales Team won the miaList Best Sales and Marketing Team, a testament to their excellent customer relationships and results‑driven work ethics. Our sales office is a fast‑paced, supportive environment, with people who are passionate about delivering great service and achieving their potential.

About the role

You will be responsible for supporting the sales team to achieve their targets in line with budget. The successful applicant will support the team by undertaking day‑to‑day enquiry handling and event co‑ordination, ensuring The Belfry standards are maintained.

  • SLAs for all stages of enquiry to contract
  • Communication of up to date pricing strategy to the team
  • Managing the sales team, including:
  • Supervising the enquiry handling process to ensure effective conversion rate
  • Monitoring event sales co‑ordinators performance and work load capacity
  • Analysing sales activity to inform business decisions by:
    • Providing regular financial reports to senior sales team (Daily & Weekly)
    • Contributing to budgeting process
    • Overseeing client contracts and paperwork to ensure compliant and up to date for events

    About you

    • Previous Sales experience is required.
    • Worked within a hotel events department for a number of years
    • Experience with Delphi, Opera and Excel
    • Experience within a large conference hotel
    • Drive to deliver exceptional customer service to all clients at all times
    • Proven success in delivering individual conversion targets
    • Had responsibility for SLAs for all stages of enquiry to contract
