  • Be able to safely move our customer’s furniture and personal items including lifting and manual handling, packing and unpacking items, wrapping and packing furniture, loading and unloading vehicles, and disassembling and reassembling household goods as required.
  • Compilation of contents inventories during pack out and removal of customer furniture and personal items, to include noting of pre-existing damage and where necessary further documenting this with digital photographs.
  • Wrap and pack items professionally and securely to prevent damage.
  • Taking apart larger items of furniture for packing and removals.
  • Collect and deliver furniture and personal items for and on behalf of BELFOR UK Ltd, and its customers.
  • Loading and securing furniture and personal items into your vehicle for safe transportation.

Requirements for Role

  • Experience in the Removals industry or similar is an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and team work skills.
  • Excellent timekeeping, reliable, and able to work unsociable hours from time to time.
  • Smart appearance (uniform and PPE equipment will be provided).
  • You must be able to communicate clearly and calmly to customers and crew.
