Job Description
A qualified Plumber is responsible for delivering works and ensuring that these works are completed to a satisfactory quality in in line with timeframes set by the Contracts manager in line with BELFOR UK operational procedures and techniques for both Residential and SME properties.
Requirements for Role
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
- Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
- Follow building plans and blueprints.
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolveplumbingemergencies.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Evidence projects with before and after photographs
- Review scopes and feedback to project manager of any changes
- Deliver works within the timeframe set by the Contracts manager.
- Keep sites clean and tidy at all times
- Liaise with the Service Centre and customer to ensure that they are regularly informed of the status of all live ongoing projects
- Ensure that Quality, Management, and Health & Safety procedures are both understood and fully implemented.
Advising insured's, where applicable, of the operation and safety of all plant and equipment including the provision of safety data sheets when necessary.
- Provide flexible resourcing to assist any other trade or restoration technician as and when required.
- Travel anywhere in the UK to deliver projects
- Attend tool box talks when requested.
- Attend training courses when provided by BELFOR UK or any other external provider.
- Keep all necessary accreditations within date
- Understand and implement the use of new procedures and materials.
- Ensure responsibilities specific to your role as detailed within BKH L006 Health Safety and Environment Policy are complied with
- Any other reasonable management request
