Position Overview
We are looking to appoint 2 teaching assistants from September 2026 to work in our internal inclusive provision. The successful candidates will be skilled and enthusiastic teaching assistants, who are committed to supporting children’s learning and who relish the challenges faced in our inclusive and successful school. A good level of maths and English is essential as is familiarity with the primary school curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning across the primary curriculum.
- Provide nurture, patience and perseverance with students.
- Engage in physical handling and intimate care where necessary.
- Work as part of a team and develop links with parents and outside agencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Good level of maths and English.
- Familiarity with the primary school curriculum.
- Enhanced DBS/CRB check.
- Ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
