There are currently three part-time, permanent posts. Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible to the Community Centre Supervisor to ensure supervision of access to the centre, respond to requests from the public, maintain high standards of cleanliness and a good appearance of the building and environs.
  • Assist in ensuring the accurate and timely production of all necessary documentation, reports and official returns.
  • Act as a key holder.

About the department:

With over 1,400 staff, the City and Neighbourhood Services Department delivers frontline services essential to the daily lives of Belfast residents. This includes:

  • Open Space & Street Scene – Managing parks, green spaces, and street cleansing operations.
  • Neighbourhood Development & Regeneration – Overseeing community centres, health and wellbeing initiatives, active living, and community safety.
  • Regulatory & City Services – Providing environmental health services, dog and pest control, port health, emergency planning, and bereavement services.
  • Strategic Waste Management – Leading waste collection, recycling, and fleet management.

This department is committed to delivering customer‑focused, cost‑efficient, and impactful services to enhance the quality of life in Belfast.

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract

Vacancy type: Full‑time

Salary: £48,226 - £51,356 per annum plus allowances, where appropriate
