There is currently one full-time, fixed term contract post until 31 May 2028, subject to review.
You will be responsible:
To the relevant senior officer for the support and coordination of innovation projects and programmes of work, ensuring the delivery of products and services to agreed quality, time and budget as part of the council’s portfolio of innovation projects and frameworks.
For identifying business needs and to investigate, develop business cases and to coordinate the implementation of appropriate innovation solutions.
For establishing and supporting relevant partnerships and networks across a wide range of disciplines to create a collaborative environment, both internally and externally, to deliver projects and programmes or work.
For providing resources across the section under the direction of the City Innovation Manager and the Senior Management Team (SMT).

- Audit, Governance & Risk Services– Ensuring compliance and best practices in corporate governance.
- City Innovation– Driving digital transformation and innovation within the council.
- Commercial & Procurement Services– Managing procurement and contract oversight.
- Digital Services– Providing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital solutions.
- Regional Programmes– Leading the delivery of strategic initiatives such as theBelfast Region City Deal.
