The predicted salary is between 25989 - 27254 £ per year.
There is currently one fixed term contract post until 30 June 2028, subject to review. To be responsible to the Senior Woodland and Recreation Officer for the provision of technical support for the management of woodland and recreation services.
Responsibilities:
- To perform such tasks and duties assigned to the post in accordance with specified time and quality targets.
- To successfully engage and work in liaison with a range of key internal and external stakeholders.
- To be responsible for ensuring that projects are implemented to a professional standard, within the acquired budget and to the target deadline.

With over 1,400 staff, the City and Neighbourhood Services Department delivers frontline services essential to the daily lives of Belfast residents. This includes:
- Open Space & Street Scene – Managing parks, green spaces, and street cleansing operations.
- Neighbourhood Development & Regeneration – Overseeing community centres, health and wellbeing initiatives, active living, and community safety.
- Regulatory & City Services – Providing environmental health services, dog and pest control, port health, emergency planning, and bereavement services.
- Strategic Waste Management – Leading waste collection, recycling, and fleet management.
This department is committed to delivering customer-focused, cost-efficient, and impactful services to enhance the quality of life in Belfast.
Salary: £25,989 - £27,254 per annum (pro rata) plus allowance; £13.4708 per hour plus 12.07% for casual work.
