£25,989 - £27,254 per annum (pro rata) plus allowance; £13.4708 per hour plus 12.07% for casual work.

About the role

There are currently three permanent, part-time posts. Casual work is also available. You will be responsible, through the relevant manager, for:

  • Setting-up and setting-down appropriate equipment, stallages and displays;
  • Acting as first point of contact for market traders and customers;
  • Providing the highest standards of customer care and service delivery to Traders and members of the public;
  • Carrying out cleaning and basic maintenance of the markets as required;
  • Acting as caretaker for the building during normal working hours;
  • Collecting income and managing it appropriately.

  • Major Events & Venues – Managing strategic assets including Waterfront and Ulster Hall, Belfast Zoo, Belfast Castle, and Malone House and supporting the development of culture, heritage and the arts.
