Belfast Veterinary Care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for career growth. We are a brand new independent referral practice hiring multiple candidates who are passionate about delivering excellent care at reasonable prices for pets and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and procedures with clinical support and patient care.
- Monitoring anaesthetic and post-operative recovery of animals.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and updating patient files diligently.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of clinical areas.
- Maintaining strong organisation with the practice scheduling, ordering, and general running.
- Building a strong relationship with our team, clients, and patients.
What We're Looking For
- Previous work in a referral practice or hospital setting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience working as part of an overnight or emergency team is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Compassionate approach with strong communication skills to support clients and team members.
- Energy and passion.
