Children's Domestic Violence Support Worker in Belfast

Belfast and Lisburn Womens Aid provides a range of support and accommodation services for women and children experiencing domestic violence. Were currently looking for passionate, like-minded individuals to join our team and are seeking to recruit for the following post. Children's Domestic Violence Support Worker The successful candidate will provide a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for women and their children living in refuge. Work with children will include organising activities for groups of children in a playroom setting whilst also providing relevant and tailored support to individual children. We have 1 full-time vacancy as follows: Ref: CW09/26 Lisburn 37.5 hours per week Permanent Starting salary is £27,254 per annum (NJC scale points 9-20). We provide a range of support and accommodation services for women and children experiencing domestic abuse. Due to the level of contact with vulnerable women and children, the lawful recruitment of females for the following posts falls within the exemption stated in Article 10 (2b&e) of the Sex Discrimination (NI) Order 1976.
