Role: Maintenance Supervisor Location:Lets Go Hydro, Knockbracken Reservoir, 1 Mealough Road, Carryduff Reporting to: General Manager Salary: £15 p/h Contract: PermanentFull time, 40-hour contract, typically Monday Friday but will required to work evenings and weekends to meet operational need to set schedule accordingly Must have full clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle Key Skills and Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment including monitoring and recording of dam data (including Reservoir temperature) Responsible for overseeing maintenance and upkeep of entire site, ensuring a safe environment for all Ensure storage facilities are maintained, kept tidy and clean, and audited regularly, maintaining the records Assist in set up / take down of any temporary accommodation units, ensuring correct storage to prevent any damage Manage the maintenance team, assess and prioritise workload, complete job sheets & tasks for maintenance team Ensuring maintenance team maintain a professional attitude and appearance whilst conducting works on site Work with Safety Officer on developing on site risk assessments and ensuring continuous upkeep or recording of paperwork Promote a culture of safety and compliance of the whole team and customers Ability to operate necessary machinery and vehicles on site (keep tickets updated) Performing preventative maintenance, handling basic repairs and maintenance. (Maintenance works including accommodation, small joinery work) following cost analysis, decide if necessary to bring in sub-contractors Keyholder responsibilities, ensuring staff follow daily cleaning schedules & comply with our opening and end of day/closing procedures, ensuring security procedures are being followed and complete daily checks This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities but will evolve and change depending on business needs. Essential Experience Requirements: Proven maintenance experience preferably from the leisure, tourism or hospitality industry with time served in either electrical, plumbing, joinery or similar skill Ability and experienced using common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches Experience performing routine maintenance works, setting to and working towards a maintenance schedule Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment and work to a high standard Always maintain a professional and positive attitude whilst maintaining confidentiality Ability to effectively communicate with external suppliers, mechanics, contractors & Sub contractors Experience in management of maintenance team, ability to assess and prioritise workload, duties and projects, complete job sheets & tasks for maintenance team Professional presentation and attitude with great communication, organisational and time management skills Must have full clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle Right to Work Documents If you feel you meet the criteria and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
