This is an exciting opportunity for a person wishing to join an established and challenging business; as Maintenance Manager the successful candidate will be part of a high performing team overseeing and maintaining BIAs (Belfast International Airport) significant infrastructure. BIA is part of the VINCI group of companies. This represents an excellent opportunity for exposure to an international network of professionals and businesses. The successful candidate will play a key role in the airports 365/24/7 operation, supporting the planning and execution routine and reactive maintenance, minor projects and all associated compliance within a live airport operational environment.
The job holder will primarily be responsible for supervising an engineering team achieving any prescribed Key Performance Indicators in relation to Programme, Quality, Safety, Environment and Budget.
Main Duties:
- Deliver (senior) management and supervision of a team of 20 personnel.
- Support the Chief Technical Officer with the logistical, technical and commercial management of the facility and to meet the overall business objectives.
- Support their team in terms of operations and professional development.
- Assist where required with the delivery of minor projects to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Responsible as the senior point of contact for facilities management at BIA.
- Communicate between airport departments, business partners, consultants, and contractors. This will involve accurate record keeping & planning.
