An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen as Belfast Health & Social Care Trust is now recruiting a Financial Analytics & Costing Manager, to augment the Costing Team based at Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Saintfield Road, Belfast. Belfast Trust delivers integrated health and social care to approximately 340,000 citizens in Belfast and provides the majority of regional specialist services to all of Northern Ireland. We have an annual budget of £1.3bn and a workforce over 20,000 staff.

In this wide-ranging and dynamic environment, excellent services in data analytics and costing are key to informing strategic direction and decision making. We’re seeking an experienced analytics professional to lead data extraction, manipulation and advanced data analysis underpinning the Trust’s Person‑Level Information and Costs (PLICS).

As a senior member of the Costing team within the Finance Directorate, you will lead on enhancement and transformation of data handling and analysis around our costing systems and processes so that information is accurate, timely and actionable. You will produce insightful, clear business‑intelligence outputs to influence and support crucial operational and strategic decision‑making, service improvement and benefits realisation.

You will support development of the regional PLICS solution, provide expert advice to senior leaders and contribute to benchmarking, statutory returns (CFR/SRF) and continuous improvement. You’ll bring strong SQL skills, experience working with complex datasets, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead and develop others.

This permanent Band 7 role is based at Knockbracken Healthcare Park, with flexible working. Training and support will be provided.
