We are looking for a Compliance Executive for a fixed term contract (18 months) to cover Maternity Leave.
Role Purpose
This individual will play a supporting role in the delivery of developing and maintaining a coherent and comprehensive suite of system documentation required to comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, accepted business practices, and standards adopted by Belfast Harbour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Compliance Lead in System Development and Maintenance
- Assist the Compliance Lead in Compliance Assurance
- Assist the Compliance Lead in Business Improvement Monitoring and Reporting
- Assist the Compliance Lead with Incident Response and Investigation
- External Relationships
- Personal Professional Development
Essential Criteria
- Third level qualification in a business or engineering subject (preferable); or Relevant vocational qualification or certification in a related discipline.
- Full driving licence
- Recent experience in a compliance or assurance role within an operational or commercial environment.
- Proficient in use of MS Office and internet research.
- Recent experience of auditing against legislative requirements and management system
Desirable
- Recent experience of implementation of management system standards.
- Experience in design or implementation of health, safety, environmental, energy or business continuity programmes.
- Awareness of the modern corporate governance environment.
