Location: Copelands, 97 Donaghadee Road, Millisle, BT22 2BZ
Starting Salary: £37,092.51 - £39,175.50 per annum. Starting Salary = £37,092.51 based on full time
Contract: Permanent
Work hours:
- Full Time - 36.75 hours per week / 3 shifts
- Part Time: 24.5 hours per week / 2 shifts
Staff Teams are split between Days or Nights

About Copelands
Copelands Care Home is expanding to a 10 bed new nursing wing, and we're looking for compassionate, skilled Staff Nurses to join us.
Copelands is Belfast Central Mission's flagship project, providing market leading care for Northern Ireland. It encompasses everything needed to create a genuine home from home where residents can enjoy a fulfilling life. Copelands comprises six households, each with 10 residents. It currently offers Residential Care and Dementia Care; our new household will also include Nursing Care. Each household has its own front door, kitchen, and living area, as well as access to a communal outdoor area. The home is designed considering the varied cognitive, social, and physical abilities of the residents.
Our Vision and Approach
Our aim is to provide the best possible care to frail older people. We promote the use of familiar and recognizable surroundings and activities to stimulate residents' memories. Visual cues throughout the design assist residents with recollection to avoid confusion and reduce anxiety. This also encourages easier interaction between staff and residents during daily activities.
Your New Role
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Using a person-centered approach, you will support residents with all aspects of their daily living, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility, and mealtimes.

What We Need From You
- RGN qualified with an active UK PIN
- Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience, including at least 2 years within a relevant care setting
- International nurses must have successfully completed their OSCE exam
