The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide the High-quality care to our residents. Using a person-centred approach you will support a wide variety of residents with all aspects of their day to day living, including social and physical activities, personal care, mobility, and mealtimes.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality, safe service which involves the provision of personal, social, and domestic care as documented in the resident’s individual support plans
- You will undertake the role of ‘Keyworker’ for your designated residents and compile and regularly review their Care Plan
- Respect personal choices of the residents, ensuring that equal opportunities principles are applied
- Assist residents with all aspects of essential basic hygiene appropriate to the care of the elderly
Skills and Qualifications
- 1 years’ experience working with older people in a residential or community setting
- QCF Level 2 or equivalent, or willing to obtain if successful
- Ability to communicate well at all levels with residents, family members, other staff etc
- Be able to cope with the many challenges which can be present with this role
Further Information
Posts available: Night shift. 36 hours per week, 3 x 12 hr shifts. 48 hours per week, 4 x 12 hrs shifts. Days and times to be confirmed.
