Room Supervisor - Puddleducks Day Nursery
Location: Puddleducks, Grosvenor House, 12 Glengall Street, Belfast, BT12 5AD
Salary: £30,534.4 per annum, £14.68 per hour (Scale point 23)
Contract: Fixed Term starting on 3 Aug 2026 until 3 May 2027
Working hours: 40 hours per week

Your new role
You will be responsible for arranging and ensuring the implementation of a stimulating and varied program of age-appropriate activities for the children in your room in line with the Puddleducks approach and the supervision of staff.
What we need from you
Essential
- Working towards or currently possess QCF Level 3 in Child Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.
- At least 2 years Early Years practice with children aged 0-5 years.
- Experience of working in a Day Nursery
- Flexibility regarding working hours and overall responsibilities within the Nursery.
Desirable
- CCLD Level 5 Leadership and Management or equivalent, or willing to complete.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- Childcare supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g. DHSSPS Childminding & Day Care for Children Under Age 12 Minimum Standards.
