Deputy Manager - Puddleducks Day Nursery

Salary: £16.07 per hour, Scale point 26
Contract Type: Permanent
Working hours: 16 hours per week - 2 days

Your new role
The role of the Deputy Manager is to assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the Nursery, including general administration duties, managing the staff and the building, and organizing/implementing a stimulating and varied program of age appropriate activities for the children in the nursery in line with the High/Scope approach.
What we need from you
- Level 5 CCLD Qualification
- At least 2 years’ experience in the management and support of staff and trainees in a day nursery setting
- At least 2 years Early Years practice in a day nursery setting with children aged 0-5 years including additional needs care
- Ability to monitor, retain, manage and motivate a staff team
- Excellent Knowledge of Registration and Inspection criteria.
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs
