Belectric UK are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor from an electrical background, to join our O&M team, where you’ll play a key role in providing expert H&S guidance and championing a strong, positive safety culture across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide practical health and safety advice to O&M teams in line with legislation, company standards, and ISO management systems.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams and clients to ensure all activities have been adequately risk assessed, with safe systems of work agreed.
- Carry out internal audits across depots and field‑based operations, overseeing corrective actions through to completion.
- Build effective working relationships with clients and act as a professional health and safety point of contact.
- Support contractor onboarding processes, including inductions and maintenance of health and safety documentation.
- Assist with incident and near‑miss investigations, identifying root causes, sharing lessons learned, and tracking actions.
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to support safe, practical delivery of O&M works.
- Create and maintain documentation supporting ISO accreditation compliance.
- Create and review internal RAMs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an HSE Advisor with a strong Electrical background (HV/LV Systems).
- A formal recognised health and safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate as a minimum.
- 3 years or more experience in a similar role within Solar PV, Utilities Electrical O&M operations.
- Strong understanding of DC & AC Systems.
- Although this role will be based from home, it will involve frequent travel across the UK to other business locations, and infrequent travel abroad including periods of working away from home Monday – Friday. Therefore, all candidates must have a full UK driving licence.
