- What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the CEO’s go‑to advisor for financial and commercial matters, implementing financial strategies, overseeing forecasting, budgeting and investment planning.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and lead finance projects.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, act as a strategic partner to the CEO and other department heads, communicate financial performance to the Board of Directors and parent company, and manage relationships with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance and implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Assess financial viability of new renewable‑energy projects, mergers and acquisitions, manage relationships with financial institutions, investors and funding bodies, and support the transition to sustainable financial models.
- What We’re Looking For
- A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with proven experience at FD or senior finance leadership level, preferably in the energy, infrastructure or industrial sectors.
- Experience working within high‑growth, entrepreneurial or evolving environments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e. g., MS Dynamics 365) and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to balance local operations with international corporate policies.
- Experience working within an international corporate structure.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking capability.
- A hands‑on approach with the ability to build and improve processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The confidence to challenge, influence and support senior teams.
- High level of integrity and capability to lead a full finance function and partner directly with a CEO.
