About your job
In this dynamic and customer‑facing role, you will be a trusted technical expert with a high degree of autonomy, building strong relationships and delivering impactful support across the amenity sector.
- Acting as a key technical contact, building and maintaining close, meaningful relationships with amenity distributors and their customers.
- Contributing to the successful delivery of the Amenity team’s objectives in a fast‑growing and strategically important sector.
- Delivering high‑quality product information and training to distributor depots, meetings and online sessions.
- Providing tailored technical coaching and support to Technical Sales Representatives and Managers through 1:1 engagement.
- Supporting end users and distributor customers with practical, solution‑driven technical advice.
- Serving as a first point of contact for product stewardship, technical support and handling customer complaints professionally.
- Collaborating with marketing and technical teams, as well as customers, to support the development and optimisation of Certis Belchim products.
- Planning and executing strong product demonstrations and trials, working with a wide variety of end users including sports clubs, contractors, rail and local authorities.
About you
- A relevant Amenity qualification and/or solid practical background within the sector.
- Strong understanding of the UK Amenity market, including the value chain, technical sales environment and customer requirements.
- Knowledge of Technical Sales roles and the ability to operate effectively across the full value chain.
- Confident presenter, able to deliver engaging product training, demonstrations and technical advice both in person and online.
- Proven ability to support distributors, their customers and end users on a technical level.
- Experienced in building trusted relationships through close collaboration with distributors and end users.
- Capable of delivering practical spray demonstrations, trials and hands‑on training presentations.
- An outgoing, approachable and collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working closely with others, contributing actively to a team environment and team success.
- A proactive and customer‑focused mindset, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your region.
- Strong digital capabilities and confidence using modern IT tools and systems, with an openness to developing future‑ready digital skills.
- BASIS qualification is preferred (training can be provided).
- PA1 & PA6 spraying licences are important for the role (training can be provided if required).
