This is a varied and rewarding position where you’ll take on significant responsibility from day one – managing your own caseload, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Why Join Us?

At Belcher Addison, we combine the high standards of a top-tier firm with the personal touch of a local practice. We offer the chance to work on transactions and matters which many other local firms can’t provide, all within a supportive and close-knit team environment.

We have a clear vision for growth and succession planning, and we’re committed to helping our team develop meaningful, long-term careers.

Your Role

You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property work and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases and development transactions.
  • Advising clients on a broad range of commercial property matters with tailored, commercially viable solutions.
  • Leading negotiations and drafting legal documentation, including contracts and leases.
  • Providing strategic guidance on property investments and portfolio management.
  • Managing transactions from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and matters progress smoothly.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
  • Supporting junior colleagues through supervision, training and mentoring.
  • Meeting time recording and billing targets.
  • Contributing to the development of the firm through networking, business development and practice growth initiatives.

We also encourage:

  • Specialisation within commercial property, allowing you to develop your own niche and expertise.
  • Taking on agreed management and practice development roles, tailored to your interests.

Who You Are

  • 2–3+ years’ PQE in commercial conveyancing (we’re happy to consider candidates with slightly less experience who demonstrate strong potential).
  • Trained at a reputable firm and looking for a new challenge within a dynamic and ambitious practice.
  • A confident communicator with a strong client focus and high standards of personal service.
  • Organised, commercially minded, and driven to contribute to the wider success of the firm.

What We Offer

  • High-quality work – A caseload of varied and interesting commercial property matters.
  • A supportive team culture – The standards of a top-tier firm with the warmth of a local practice.
  • Long-term career growth – A role designed for development, with support to grow into a leadership position.

Many of our team have joined us from larger firms, drawn by the opportunity to make a real impact while enjoying a closer, more personalised approach to legal work.
