We are currently recruiting for a Post Process Technician to join a leading manufacturing operation in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with strong experience using pneumatic hand tools, including grinders, burr tools, die grinders, and sanders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring components meet strict quality and customer specifications through a range of post-processing and finishing activities. This position would suit candidates from manufacturing, fabrication, machining, foundry, aerospace, automotive, defence, or engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities- Perform post-processing and finishing operations on manufactured components and assemblies
- Remove excess material, support structures, burrs, and surface imperfections using pneumatic tools
- Operate and maintain grinders, die grinders, burr tools, sanders, and other finishing equipment
- Carry out deburring, fettling, polishing, and surface preparation activities to required specifications
- Inspect components against engineering drawings, quality standards, and customer requirements
- Report defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns
- Previous experience in a post-processing, finishing, fettling, fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environment
- Extensive experience using pneumatic hand tools, particularly grinders, burr tools, die grinders, and sanders
- Ability to accurately remove material while maintaining dimensional and quality requirements
- Experience following data cards, SOPs, and work instructions
- Experience working with metal components, castings, additive manufacturing (3D-printed parts), or precision-engineered products
- Aerospace, automotive, defence, industrial manufacturing, or engineering sector experience
- Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes.
