Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Whetstone, UK Contract: Outside IR35 Duration: 6 months Hours: 40 hours per week Hybrid: Potential for 2 days WFH / 3 days office Join a leading organisation in the aerospace sector, specialising in advanced aeroengine design, development, manufacturing and lifecycle propulsion services. We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an exciting engineering project on a 6-month contract. Experience & Qualifications: Design engineer will have degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering preferred, HND minimum. Design engineer should have Aerospace industry experience. As a design engineer you should be able to design interfaces considering fit, form and function. Excellent Siemens NX skills, with surfacing experience advantageous Teamcenter experience, particularly working with NX CAD files Ability to size components using hand calculations.
