A leading organisation in the aerospace sector is seeking a highly organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to support the delivery of critical components and services across a complex global supply chain. This role is essential to ensuring that the right parts arrive at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right place to meet demanding production and testing schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment with production and operational requirements.
- Optimise ordering parameters such as safety stock, batch sizes, and reorder points based on supplier performance and demand variability.
- Coordinate reordering activities following scrap, damage, or rejection of parts.
- Maintain delivery forecasts and monitor line of balance through regular supplier engagement.
- Track and report on key supply chain KPIs including stock levels, service levels, and order fulfilment.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across global sites, escalating issues to prevent supply disruptions.
- Participate in supplier performance reviews and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Support resolution of delivery, quality, and invoice discrepancies.
- Analyse MRP outputs and manage exception messages to maintain supply continuity.
- Assist with supplier stock monitoring and support scrap, sell, or transfer processes as needed.
