Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced PP&E CAD Engineer to support the design and delivery of plant, property and equipment on a high‑profile UK defence‑related programme. This is a site‑based contract role within a collaborative mechanical engineering environment, contributing to critical manufacturing and operational projects. The role is deemed Inside IR35.
As a PP&E CAD Engineer, you will provide high‑quality mechanical CAD support using Autodesk Inventor, working closely with engineering and project teams to develop equipment solutions that meet manufacturing process requirements. You will be involved across the full design lifecycle, from concept development through to detailed drawings and supporting technical documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing and reviewing mechanical CAD models
- Presenting design concepts and outputs at design and process reviews
- Managing models and data within document management systems
- Ensuring all outputs meet agreed quality and technical standards
- Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve design issues
