Our Client an Engineering company are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation Control Engineer for a permanent and contract position in Warrington location. This role is placed within Oil & Gas, Construction or highly regulated industry.

We have both contract and staff positions available.

Role

Senior Controls and Instrumentation Design Engineer role involves delivering high-quality Controls and Instrumentation engineering and design solutions across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning.

Responsibilities:

Senior Controls and Instrumentation Engineer you will produce C&I design deliverables within single and multi-discipline engineering projects. You will support the Lead Engineer in delivering designs on time, to budget, and to the required quality.

You will ensure designs are coordinated with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Process, and Automation).Participate in internal and external design reviews, presenting designs to the Lead Engineer and stakeholders.

Controls Instrumentation Engineer C&I will provide input and support to construction, testing, and commissioning activities. You will manage C&I engineering on individual projects or a portfolio of projects, depending on scope and complexity.

The projects will vary in complexity and size, delivered for all the major sectors (Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Petrochemicals industry).

Experience

If you have the following profile, we look forward to meeting you:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Controls and Instrumentation C&I Engineer within engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Controls and Instrumentation C&I engineering and design, with a good understanding of related disciplines.
  • Experience in both Electrical and Instrumentation design.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as AMTECH, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Degree (BEng/MEng/MSc) in C&I Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Good understanding of current British and International Standards.
  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or Oil and gas sector preferred.
