Contract Duration: 12 months

Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior C&I Engineer to join our client’s dynamic design team. In this role, you’ll oversee supplier activities across design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of packages including BMS, Security, and functional safety systems. This position blends technical problem-solving, supplier coordination, and documentation responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Engineering during Manufacturing, Construction, and Commissioning phases
- Respond to Design Change Notes, Technical Queries, Concessions, and Commissioning Reservations
- Author Technical Notes and Assessments
- Manage Requirements and Traceability
- Oversee Reservation Management
- Review Inspection and Test Plans
- Progress Documentation
- Resolve challenges in Manufacturing, Installation, and Commissioning with support from the Design Manager
- Assist in the Certification of Design process
- Coordinate development of Operation and Maintenance Manuals with stakeholders
About You
The ideal Senior C&I Engineer is a proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering results. You’ll bring experience in controls and instrumentation and be capable of working independently while receiving guidance from a Design Manager.
Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK security clearance. This typically requires having the right to work in the UK and having lived in the UK for a minimum period, depending on the level of clearance required.
