Are you an experienced EC&I Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a highly skilled professional to join a dynamic engineering team working on cutting-edge EPC projects across multiple sectors including nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals and renewables.
As a Senior EC&I Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality electrical control and instrumentation designs for control panels and related systems. You'll act as a technical authority, supporting project delivery from concept through to manufacturing and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead EC&I design activities for electrical control panels and systems.
- Translate customer requirements into robust engineering solutions.
- Manage design projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Support construction and manufacturing stages, including change control.
- Provide technical guidance and client-facing support throughout project lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in regulated industries (nuclear, defence, oil & gas, power).
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical engineering design.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and AMTECH.
- Experience in LV switchgear, motor control centres, automation systems, and variable drive systems.
