Belcan Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Production Order Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Worcester on a 6 month rolling contract. Working fully on site, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing administration, production support or SAP experience to play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of production documentation and manufacturing records.
As a Production Order Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing and correcting production orders within SAP, ensuring they accurately reflect approved manufacturing documentation. You will be provided with controlled work instructions and documentation, which must be checked, interpreted and transferred accurately into production orders. You will investigate discrepancies, make detailed notes, maintain accurate records and ensure manufacturing data remains aligned to support production flow and inspection activities. The role will also involve coordinating the movement of work in progress (WIP), working closely with Manufacturing, Inspection and Engineering teams, undertaking manual handling activities, driving pallet trucks and using Microsoft Excel for record keeping and reporting.
The successful Production Order Coordinator will have previous experience within a manufacturing, production support, planning, operations or administrative environment. You will possess excellent attention to detail, be comfortable working with large volumes of data and documentation, and have the ability to follow established processes accurately and consistently.
