Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Quality Assurance professional to join a highly specialised manufacturing environment in Stevenage. This Operations Quality Assurance role plays a critical part in ensuring customer and regulatory requirements are met throughout manufacturing, assembly, integration and test phases. Key Responsibilities
- As an Operations Quality Assurance specialist, you will be fully empowered to manage quality activities within the production area, acting as a key authority on compliance, inspection and continuous improvement.
- You will be responsible for assuring product quality across spacecraft production activities, including:
- Performing and witnessing critical inspection activities and operations
- Leading the prevention of non-conformances and promoting a strong quality mindset
- Managing non-conformance processes and driving cost of non-quality reduction
- Carrying out quality surveillance within local work areas
- Collating build reconciliations and tracking open actions and work orders
- Supporting root cause analysis and internal reviews
