Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 7am–7pm)

Pay Rate: £46.20 per hour (Umbrella) / £34.53 per hour (PAYE)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Finance Business Partner to support a complex, high‑value procurement environment within a large manufacturing organisation. This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with procurement and operational leaders to drive robust financial decision‑making across detail parts procurement.

The Role

As a trusted finance business partner, you’ll provide financial leadership across long bed and short bed detail parts procurement, supporting commercial strategies, supplier negotiations, and investment decisions. The role combines strategic partnering with hands‑on financial control, forecasting, and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Finance Business Partner and MFT Lead for detail parts procurement operations
  • Lead financial input into tendering decisions and assess impact on supply chain performance
  • Support supplier negotiations, claims, and commercial discussions
  • Drive annual budget planning and quarterly forecasting activities
  • Build and challenge business cases, including ROI and investment appraisals
  • Deliver robust financial reporting with clear insight into risks and performance vs targets
  • Support improvement initiatives, mitigation plans, and continuous improvement activity
  • Provide financial control across recurring cost, inventory, non‑recurring cost, and CapEx
  • Work effectively across a matrix organisation with multiple senior stakeholders

  • Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CIMA preferred) with 5+ years PQE
  • Strong background in finance business partnering within a manufacturing or commercial environment
  • Experience working with SAP or similar financial systems
  • Comfortable operating independently in a complex, fast‑paced organisation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercial mindset with confidence in negotiation and supplier discussions
  • Proven ability to present financial information clearly to senior leadership
