Recruitment Coordinator
Location: Oxford (Hybrid Working - Minimum 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: Β£18.00 per hour PAYE / Β£24.09 per hour Umbrella
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00)
Our client is seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to support their in-house talent acquisition function. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional who enjoys managing the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers, and delivering a first-class candidate experience in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will take ownership of recruitment activities from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will support hiring managers in attracting and securing top talent while ensuring recruitment processes remain compliant and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, sourcing candidates, screening applications, interviewing, and onboarding support.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and targeted search strategies.
- Conduct initial telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand recruitment requirements and define candidate profiles.
- Provide recruitment updates, market insights, and hiring metrics to stakeholders.
- Maintain recruitment records and workflow management systems, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Support onboarding activities and work closely with HR teams to ensure a smooth candidate transition.
- Undertake occasional travel as required to support recruitment activities and stakeholder engagement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
- Previous experience managing recruitment processes or coordinating recruitment activities in an in-house or agency environment.
- Experience verifying educational qualifications, technical certifications, apprenticeships, licences, or similar credentials.
- Knowledge of UK pre-employment screening processes and security clearance requirements such as BPSS and SC Clearance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- CIPD qualification or relevant HR/recruitment certification.
- Experience using Workday or similar applicant tracking systems.
