Position: Mechanical Draughtsperson Location: Castle Donnington – 3 Days on site per week Type: Full-Time The Role This is a contract role expected to last between 6 – 12 months with the successful candidate working to trouble shoot and refine an existing complex drawing library using NX. This will involve checking and correcting GD&T data, team centre structure and validity of BOM information. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs and drawings. Collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate and efficient models. Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project specifications. Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback. Maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation. Qualifications: HNC or Bachelor\’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proficiency in NX software. Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes. High level of accuracy in drawings and documentation Ability to spot and correct errors in technical plans Good communication skills with the ability to work in a small team as a self-starter.
