Are you ready to take command of complex marine engineering systems and shape the performance of modern vessels? We’re looking for a Contract Senior Marine Vessel Engineer to provide expert technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines—ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency where it matters most.

The Senior Marine Vessel Engineer will:

  • Lead performance across key vessel systems, including HVAC, hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems
  • Drive improvements in energy efficiency, reliability, safety, and vessel performance
  • Support and lead engineering activities during dry dock, refits, commissioning, and in-service operations
  • Have a deep understanding of SOLAS, MARPOL, and Class compliance
  • Experience with maintenance strategies, reliability engineering, and performance analytics
  • Exhibit calm, decisive problem-solving across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Commit to safety, compliance, and engineering excellence
  • Hold a Marine / Mechanical / Electrical / Structural Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
  • Possess extensive hands-on experience across marine vessel systems (HVAC/F-Gas, hydraulic systems, electrical competency, structural standards)
  • Be at the forefront of marine engineering innovation
  • Influence projects from concept design through to in-service support
  • Drive sustainability, efficiency, and operational excellence across modern fleets
  • Work with advanced tools including Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Foran, and more
