Our Client, an Energy infrastructure company, is seeking a Commercial Manager for LNG Projects, Oil & Gas Projects, Petrochemical Projects, Storage or Upper tier COMAH sites industry based in Isle of Grain for a 6 months contract Inside IR35.
Role: The Commercial Manager will be responsible for providing overall contract support during the final delivery stage of the project. These services shall ensure that contractual obligations under the relevant EPC contract are appropriately undertaken and delivered. You will work on the project to look after the Storage Tank contract.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for contract and commercial compliance of the Tank project contract.
- Work with the project Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager on all matters relating to variations, changes to completion dates, increase in risk provisions, disputes, and any matters escalated to the Project Advisory Board.
- Collaborate closely with Purchaser's Finance Cost teams to ensure all budgets are updated and any significant changes identified, articulated, and where required reported into the Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager.
- Attend the Commercial monthly review meeting to coordinate alignment, lessons learnt, consistency, and maximising the skills available to deal with any issues across the project.
- Work closely with the Project Controls team to ensure the nominated contract administration module/processes are managed and complied with.
Deliverables: The production of any deliverables and documents that may be required from the Supplier shall be determined and agreed during execution of these services.
Programme: Delivery of these services shall be aligned with the Customer's overall master project programme of works.
Experience: The Commercial Manager will have 10+ years of experience in Commercial Management and good knowledge in Quantity surveying. 2 years' experience working in any of the following environments: UK Gas or LNG Projects, Oil & Gas Projects, Petrochemical Projects, LNG Production, Storage, Vaporisation, or Shipping, Cryogenic Pipeline, Process or Gas Compression or Upper tier COMAH sites.
