Our client is seeking a skilled Building and Construction Project Leader to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, delivering high-quality building services, refurbishment work and major plant replacements. Responsibilities
- Lead CAPEX projects from inception through feasibility, design, delivery and handover.
- Manage multi-functional project teams and external professional partners.
- Prepare design briefs, reports, drawings, specifications and cost documentation.
- Oversee on-site activities, ensuring technical compliance and Health & Safety standards are met.
- Manage business cases, project plans, risks, opportunities and progress reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
As the Building and Construction Project Leader, you will guide projects from initial feasibility through design, specification, delivery and final handover. You'll lead multi-functional teams, support the development of detailed design briefs and ensure that all works meet both technical and safety requirements. Your strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems, alongside your project management experience, will enable you to provide robust oversight across all stages of delivery.
The role involves liaising closely with architects, engineers, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination throughout each project. You'll develop key documentation, including reports, specifications and cost analysis, while managing risks, opportunities and project governance. Candidates with prior client-side experience and a background in building engineering services will be particularly suited to this opportunity, especially those who can demonstrate effective leadership in small to medium-scale construction projects.

- Proven experience in building and construction project management.
