An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an energy client based in Lincoln as an MRP Controller. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring material availability and delivery plans align with production and customer commitments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Create, maintain, and communicate delivery plans across the supply chain.
- Assess demand changes and provide impact analysis to support planning decisions.
- Maintain accurate master and dynamic planning data within SAP.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure availability while avoiding excess stock.
- Ensure supplier delivery commitments are met and reflected in system schedules.
- Act as the primary interface with suppliers, driving performance and improvements.
- Lead supplier business reviews focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
- Manage shortages, recovery plans, and escalation of supply risks.
- Analyse supplier capacity and constraints that may impact delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics.
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and influence outcomes.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
