Job Description Stores Operative Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract Rate: £15.87 per hour PAYE / £21.45 per hour Umbrella Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:00, Friday 08:00-15:30) Overtime: 1.25x weekdays, 1.5x weekends Medical: Medical check required Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised Stores Operative to support critical logistics and inventory operations within a fast-paced engineering environment. Receive, pick, pack, issue, and dispatch inventory while maintaining accurate and auditable records using SAP and manual systems. Manage stock movements and inventory control activities to ensure operational requirements are met. Manage calibrated tools, safety equipment, and controlled inventory. Coordinate LOLER inspections and lifting equipment records. Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual stock checks and inventory audits. Support logistics activities and work closely with operational teams to meet business requirements. Previous experience in stores, warehousing, inventory control, or material handling. Experience using SAP and Microsoft Office applications. Experience within the wind energy, renewables, offshore, engineering, or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous.
