Our Client, a Global manufacturing company, is seeking an IT Analyst for a contract position of 12 months in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The Opportunity:
Are you an experienced IT Analyst professional? An opportunity exists with our client. This position is part of a regional IT team responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of IT services to our EPD business partners within Northern Ireland.
Role:
As an IT Analyst, you will ensure effective service delivery for the infrastructure of IT systems, Vulnerability and asset management within the EAME region.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of IT services, including system and infrastructure support.
- Conduct updates, upgrades, and other maintenance tasks in both hardware and software areas.
- Ensure services achieve and maintain compliance with IT Security, SOX, and IT Internal Controls.
- Address high priority issues/escalations and assist in integrating IT hardware with the organization's existing systems.
- Support the project leader in developing and executing system test plans.
- Work with supplier relationship teams on vendor reporting and tools processes to understand metrics and trends.
Required Qualifications:
- An IT related degree or extensive ITSM / ITIL experience.
- 3+ years of experience/knowledge of computer hardware, network support, interfacing of software, desktop support, telecommunications concepts, Data Base Management Systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage priorities, issues, and influence others.
- Good Microsoft 365 basic skills.
- Experience managing and resolving issues across multiple business units.
- Excellent communication and change management acumen.
- Server and infrastructure, networking knowledge would be beneficial.
