The Role
Our client is seeking a Security Operations Support professional to support the delivery of a robust physical security framework within a large, complex industrial environment. This role plays a key part in protecting people, assets, information, and infrastructure while supporting operational and delivery objectives.
You will work closely with site security leadership, contributing to day-to-day security operations as well as supporting physical security, fire, and systems-related projects. The position offers excellent exposure to a broad UK security network including corporate, cyber, aviation security, and emergency response functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of effective physical security, fire, and systems activities in line with policy and regulatory frameworks
- Assist with the management and performance oversight of third-party security, systems, and fire service providers
- Support security risk assessments, issue management, and mitigation activity
- Assist with emergency planning and emergency response arrangements
- Provide security input into site events, projects, and operational planning
- Act as a coordinator for security and safety investigations
- Serve as a first point of contact for security systems issues and faults
- Support audits and ensure supplier compliance with contractual requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and procedures
- Produce reports and maintain effective stakeholder communication
About You
We’re open to candidates with strong transferable skills, including those without a formal security background but with an interest in security, aerospace, or industrial environments.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Experience within a corporate, commercial, or industrial operational environment
- An understanding of security or risk management principles
- Exposure to stakeholder management and multi-functional working
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A methodical, systems-thinking approach to resolving issues
- Confidence working with Microsoft and Google-based applications
- Qualifications or equivalent experience in security management
