Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Repair Engineer to join our team on a 6‑month rolling contract, working 40 hours per week and based on‑site in Warwick. This is an exciting opportunity to support technically complex repair development activities within a global engineering environment, contributing to capability growth across a diverse component portfolio.
In this role, you will assess and investigate non‑conforming components, support the development and amendment of repair schemes, and contribute to implementing technical improvements both internally and across partner repair facilities. You will represent engineering during reviews and discussions, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while providing technical support where required.
The position begins with five days per week on‑site, transitioning to a hybrid arrangement of up to two days working from home once fully embedded. We are seeking individuals with strong mechanical, materials, or manufacturing engineering expertise, alongside experience interpreting component drawings and understanding design intent. Exposure to gas turbines or industrial equipment is advantageous.
As a Repair Engineer, you will interact across varied technical teams, helping deliver robust repair solutions within a highly regulated environment. An understanding of Rolls‑Royce documentation—such as Repair Schemes, TSD, OMat, MSRR or RPS—would be beneficial, and experience within Aerospace is preferred. Automotive‑only backgrounds are not suitable for this role.
Essential Requirements:- Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across internal and external teams.
- Flexibility to support engineering activities beyond standard hours.
- Aerospace or industrial equipment background preferred.
