We are seeking an experienced stress engineer to join an aerospace wing engineering team on an initial 12-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly skilled engineering environment, supporting the analysis and validation of aircraft structures to ensure continued airworthiness and compliance.

- Position: T400 Stress Engineer
- Location: Broughton / Filton
- Pay Rate: £46 - £52 per hour (Umbrella) + 30% Shift Allowance if applicable
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
- Security Clearance: BPSS Required
- T400 Stress Engineer - Key Responsibilities
- Conduct static structural analysis of both metallic and composite aircraft structures.
- Analyse and validate metallic, composite and hybrid structures at component level, including:
- Static Strength
- Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT)
- Produce strength margins and reserve factors using validated methodologies and sizing processes.
- Perform stress analysis activities to support repair solutions and concession acceptance activities.
- Ensure all structural assessments comply with relevant airworthiness requirements.
- Work collaboratively within the Wing Plant Engineering Team to support production and engineering objectives.
- T400 Stress Engineer- Essential Experience
- Previous T400 Concessions Approval.
- Experience in aircraft structural stress analysis.
- Strong knowledge of metallic and composite structures.
- Experience producing structural substantiation for concessions, repairs or acceptance activities.
- Aircraft industry experience, including commercial or military aviation.
