Location: Broughton (Onsite)

Contract: 12-month contract (likely extension)

Rate: £25.95 PAYE / £34.72 Umbrella per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible working between 7am–7pm)

IR35: Inside IR35

Clearance: BPSS+ (to be completed prior to start)

About the Role

Our client in the Aerospace Industry is seeking an experienced Enablement Lead & Business Support professional to join a dynamic manufacturing development environment. This role plays a key part in supporting demonstrator build activities, driving logistics enablement, and ensuring the successful delivery of business support projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Automation, Digitalisation, and Build Process, as an Enablement Lead & Business Support you will ensure operational requirements are effectively translated into robust industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and implementation of logistics and enablement activities
  • Establish and manage project management processes across the programme
  • Drive planning, scheduling and reporting activities, ensuring KPI delivery
  • Develop integrated project schedules and maintain accurate reporting systems
  • Manage risk registers and support stakeholder reporting requirements
  • Coordinate enablement for people, materials, machines, methods and measurement
  • Set up service level agreements with internal and external providers
  • Support financial planning, business case development and reporting
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal coordination, visitors and stakeholders
  • Provide general business support including diary management, travel coordination and purchasing processes

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial development environment
  • Strong background in logistics, enablement or operational support
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience working with service providers and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of production environments, including S,Q,C,D,P metrics
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in digital tools (including Google-based systems)
  • Willingness to support a wide range of operational and project activities
