Electronics Project Design Engineer Location: Cheltenham | Full-Time | Engineering Department Are you passionate about designing cutting-edge electronics and PCB systems? Join our dynamic engineering team as an Electronics Project Design Engineer and take the lead in developing innovative industrial control systems, automated test equipment, and complex electro-mechanical solutions. What You’ll Do: As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll: Design electronic circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts from concept to completion. Lead or contribute to small and medium-sized electronics projects. Manage customer requirements and technical issues with precision and professionalism. Ensure compliance with UKCA/CE standards and support documentation for quality control and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: PCB design and layout using tools like Altium. Analogue and digital circuit design, including FPGA and embedded systems (STM32 preferred). Estimating project scopes and preparing quotations. Engineering data management (drawings, models, Gerbers). Multitasking across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. What You Bring: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in PCB and electronic design. Strong understanding of analogue/digital systems and embedded firmware. Familiarity with PLM tools, configuration control, and mechanical systems.
