Rate: £500/day (Outside IR35)
Hours: 50 hours per week | 10 hours per day (Weekend - 8 hours p/d)
Rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off (weekend on / weekend off cycle)
We are recruiting an experienced Site HSE (EHS) Advisor to support a major Energy / Onshore Wind project at Inch Cape, Edinburgh. This is a hands-on, site-based role providing strong operational EHS support to the Site Manager and wider project team.
Role Overview
As Site HSE Advisor, you will provide visible, proactive EHS leadership, championing Zero Harm, environmental protection, sustainability, and workforce wellbeing throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible, proactive EHS leadership, promoting Zero Harm, sustainability and wellbeing across the project
- Support site mobilisation by ensuring all EHS documentation (CPP, RAMS, permits, ERP, TMP) is in place and controlled
- Conduct routine site inspections, risk assessments and audits; identify and escalate non‑conformances
- Review and provide EHS input into contractor and subcontractor RAMS, including non‑routine works
- Manage site inductions, competency checks, EHS training and toolbox talks
- Lead safety observations, incident reporting and accident investigations, including root cause analysis.
